Thank You!

With the generous support of all our donors we raised approximately $16,000 – the most in the campaign’s three year history!

Our Nachos for Strong Kids partnership with The Shooters Group continued this year and they sold 687 orders of nachos but doubled their donation to $1,374!

While the first ever strong kids challenge raised an impressive $6,000!

Other fundraisers such as the ZUMBA-athon, Penny Drive, and Bird Feeder silent auction were all hugely successful!

Thank you to everyone who participated - see you next year!

Participant comments:

Let me start off by saying THANK YOU for all your help in organizing such a wonderful, memorable and successful Strong Kids Campaign. The past 10 days were a lot of fun and an amazing experience that I'll always cherish.

Well this has been an experience for me I must say.  Working full time and school time and kids on the go.   In doing this Strong Kids Participants Challenge I have learnt a lot of things about the Y. Really first and foremost how compassionate we all are in whatever position you are in with the Y.

The Y starts with kids first and this helps build our community. As the saying goes "It takes a community to raise a child" I truly believe this.

Thanks again for organizing the YAP tour.   Definitely a real eye-opener and it's unbelievable how great of a job Misty is doing.
