Volunteer of the Month
Our #VolunteerOfTheMonth is Penny Ridley
Penny Ridley has been volunteering with the YMCA running clinic for several years now. This year she has made her volunteering not only about herself in helping others, but she has brought a new element to our running clinic. Penny has made a family goal of running the 5km YMCA Road Race all together. She has brought out her two children, Tula and Oscar and her husband Dave to run with the learn to run group. When participants saw that children were involved, this sparked others to bring their children. What a wonderful role model Penny and her family is to our YMCA community. She has created a bond with her running group and is inspiring us all with her leadership. Penny is a well deserving volunteer of the month. Thank you Penny Ridley, you are making a difference in many lives; young and the young at heart!!
